1. Who we are
EGP Group ("we", "us", "our") is a private limited company registered in the Arab Republic of Egypt with its principal office at 51 Mohy El-Din Abou-El-Ezz, 8th Floor, App. 81, Dokki, Cairo, Egypt. When this policy says "personal data" it means information that identifies you or could identify you. The data controller is EGP Group. Data-protection questions and requests can be sent to privacy@egp-group.com.
2. What we collect
We collect only the personal data you choose to provide through this website — typically your name, email address, phone number and the contents of any message you send us using the contact form or via email. We do not collect payment data, government identifiers or special-category data through this site. Our web hosting provider and any analytics tools may log technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and aggregate performance monitoring.
3. How we use your data
We use the information you send us to respond to enquiries, provide commercial and technical information about our services, prepare quotations and manage ongoing business relationships. The legal bases we rely on (under the EU/UK GDPR where it applies, and under Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 where it applies) are your consent, the performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in running and promoting our business.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with our international licensors and suppliers where strictly necessary to respond to your specific enquiry, with IT and hosting providers acting under contract on our behalf, and where we are required to do so by law or by a regulator.
5. International transfers
EGP Group's international partners are based in the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States. Where your data is transferred outside Egypt or the EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the recipient's binding corporate rules.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry data for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and, where a commercial relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship plus any period required by Egyptian commercial, tax or accounting law. Inactive enquiries are deleted within 24 months unless we have a clear reason to keep them.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights email privacy@egp-group.com. You also have the right to complain to the Egyptian Data Protection Centre or, where relevant, to your local supervisory authority in the EU or the UK.
8. Cookies
This website uses only strictly necessary cookies required to serve the site and remember your language preference. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browser settings let you block cookies, but doing so may affect how the site works.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration, including access controls, encryption in transit, and supplier due diligence. No internet transmission is ever fully secure, so we ask you not to send highly sensitive information through this site.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
